It is with deepest sympathy Godfrey Funeral Home announces Mrs. Priscilla Botford, age 66, departed this life Saturday, September 02, 2017.
Priscilla Green Botford was born October 3, 1950 in Valdosta, GA, to the late Geneva Green and the late Willie D. Ellis.
Priscilla lived her entire life in Valdosta where she was educated in the Valdosta City School City System and was a proud member of Pinevale High School graduating Class of 1968. Priscilla fondly called “Boot” was well known in her community by her warm and kind heart. She never met a stranger. Her house was a home filled with warmth, laughter, and love for her family, friends, neighbors and all who visited there.
Priscilla was a devoted mother. To her children she was loyal, loving, strong-willed, full of determination, brave and fearless. She worked hard to provide for her family. Her love was never doubted, her children knew she strived to prepare the way for a better future for them.
On Saturday, September 2, Priscilla took flight on the wings of a dove and set course for Heaven above.
