Raymond Lee Scurry

Raymond Lee Scurry was born to the late Rayfield Scurry, Sr. and the late Dimple Lee Ross Scurry, September 02, 1954 in Valdosta, GA.

He made his life ending transition, Thursday, August 16, 2012 at the Langdale Hospice House.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife: Nina Faye Scurry.

Raymond leaves to cherish his memories four sisters: Cora Donaldson, Mary Scurry, Elder Carolyn Parker and Doretha Price (Percy); one brother: Elder Rayfield Scurry, Jr. (Ella Mae), one aunt: Glennie Scurry: a host of nieces, nephews and cousins: Curtis Donaldson (Loretta), Calvin Donaldson (Gwen), Marcus Scurry (Camillia), Archie Donaldson, Dorius Scurry, Chadwick Scurry, Michael Scurry, Christopher Scurry, Courtney Donaldson, Monica Scurry, Clifford Jones, Montiez Donaldson, Tiffany Donaldson, Tina Donaldson, Lakendra Scurry, Joshua Scurry, Wilbert Scurry, David Massey, Johnny Lee Massey and Tellis Massey, and a host of other sorrowing family and friends.

Special thanks to: Dr. Theodore Kanne, the Staff of the Pearlman Cancer Center, the Staff of Langdale Hospice House, Mr. & Mrs., Sammie Pride, Mrs. Mary Sherman, Ms. Tillie Johnson, Mrs. Eula Godfrey, the Roosevelt Thomas family.

The homegoing celebration for Mr. Raymond Lee Scurry will be held Thursday, August 23, 2012 at 1:00pm from the sanctuary of Joyful Sound International Ministry.

Pastor Willie Scurry will officiate. Apostle Julia Grant Berry is the pastor.

Burial will follow at the Sunset Hill Cemetery.
