It is with deepest sympathy Godfrey Funeral Home announces, Retired Staff Sergeant John Dixon, Sr., age 71, departed this life Friday, June 5, 2026.
The Celebration of Life for the late Retired Staff Sergeant John E. John Dixon, Sr., will be Saturday, June 13, 2026, 2:00 p.m., at Mrs. Eula C. Godfrey Memorial Chapel, 636 River Street, Valdosta, GA 31601.
Interment will follow at Pallbearers Cemetery, 2660 Riverside Road, Valdosta, GA.
Public viewing will be Friday, June 12, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., at Godfrey Funeral Home, 636 River Street, Valdosta, GA.
