Richard Diswan Howell

Mr. Richard Diswan “Swan” Howell was born March 13, 1981, in Hahira, Georgia to Ms. Angela Holiday Stokes and Mr. Richard N. Howell.

Richard passed away on Friday, February 5, 2021.

He leaves to cherish his loving smile and generous personality to his children: Crystal Howell, Richard Howell, Savanna Howell - all of Hampton, GA, Baby Bella Howell of Douglasville, GA, and a special son: John Davis of Atlanta, GA; his mother: Ms. Angela Holiday Stokes of Valdosta, GA; his father: Richard N. Howell (Cynthia) of Lake Park, GA; his sisters: Taneisha Strickland (Steve), Joneisha Horton, and Shameca Robinson (Tramaine) - all of Valdosta, GA; a step-sister: Tierra Price of Lake Park, GA; his brothers: Jason Stokes and Patrick Mack, both of Valdosta, GA, Ricky Williams of Las Vegas, NV; step-brothers: Octavius Fudge of Atlanta, GA and Keyshawn Arthur of Lakeland, GA; his grandmother: Gracy Holiday of Valdosta, GA; his aunts and uncles: Charles Holiday, Jr., Anthony Holiday (Sandra), Demetrius Holiday, William Holiday, John Norwood, Ricky Norwood, Janet Hicks (Terrence), Angela Jackson (Benny), Brenda Norwood, Valeria Fulton Smith and Beverly Williams (Ulysee) – all of Valdosta, GA, Virginia Frazier of Lakeland, GA, Carolyn Hallman (William) of Quitman, GA, Senita Huff of Ray City, GA, and Melissa Paul (Michael) of Fairburn, GA; a very special uncle: Robert Brisco of Valdosta, GA; his fiancé: Monique Camp of Douglasville, GA; and a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends.

A memorial service for the late Mr. Richard Diswan “Swan” Howell. will be Saturday, February 13, 2021, 2:00 p.m., at the chapel of Godfrey Funeral Home, for the immediate family.  The service will be live streamed via the Godfrey Funeral Home Facebook page.  Bro. Bruce Edwards will officiate.

Public viewing will be Friday, February 12th, 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Godfrey Funeral Home.

All those who wish to pay their respect in person must wear a mask during visitation.
