Rickey Bernard Morris

Rickey B. Morris was born July 19, 1963, in Adel, GA, to the late Elease Morris and the late Wildrow Inman.

Rickey was a man who truly lived life to the fullest through simple pleasures of faith, family and love. He had an unique ability to reach people in positive way through his kind heart and generous spirit. Rickey had a successful career as a television cameraman for NBC where he retired after many dedicated years of service.

On Wednesday, December 16, the Lord zoomed in on Rickey and decided this would be his last scene of life.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his grandparents: John Henry Morris and Julia Morris.

Rickey B. Morris leaves to reminisce and celebrate his life, his son and granddaughter; Rickey B. Morris, Jr. and Moreya Morris, both of Miami, FL; five sisters: Latrelle Morris of Live Oak, FL, Juanice Smith of Sparks, GA, Juliette Anderson of Valdosta, GA, Julia Morris of Sparks, GA and Tiffany Morris Spencer; six brothers: John D. Morris of Miramar, FL, Eddie Morris of Orangeburg, SC, Donald Morris of Sparks, GA, Dewayne Morris of Sparks, GA, John Morris of Adel, GA and Lesile Smith of Lakeland, GA; two aunts: Minnie Morris and Gladys Morris, both of Adel, GA; a special friend, Mary Tucker—thank you for all of your love and kindness; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and friends.

The Celebration of Life graveside service for the late Mr. Rickey B. Morris, age 57, of Sparks, GA, will be Saturday, December 19, 2020, 3:00 p.m., at Adel City Cemetery, 1102 Industrial Parkway, Adel, GA.

Public viewing, Friday, December 18th, 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., at Godfrey Funeral Home.

All those who wish to pay their respect in person must wear a mask during the visitation and at the gravesite.
