It is with deepest sympathy Godfrey Funeral Home announces Mr. Robert L. Hires, age 68, departed this life Sunday, February 4, 2024.

The Celebration of Life for the late Mr. Robert L.  Hires will be Saturday, February 10, 2024, 10:00 a.m., at Union Cathedral Church, 1050 E. Hill Ave., Valdosta, GA, 31601.

Bishop Wade S. McCrae will be officiating. Dr. William C. Morgan is the Eulogist.

Interment will follow in the Crawford Memorial Cemetery.

Public viewing will be Friday, February 9, 2024, from 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Godfrey Funeral Home, Valdosta, GA.

All those who wish to pay their respect in person must wear mask at the public viewing and at the funeral service.
