Ronnie Scott, Sr

Ronnie Scott, Sr. was born January 7, 1953 to the late Willie Lamar and Mary Louise Martin Scott in Valdosta, GA. He was an employee of MIDS, Inc. for five years. He loved people and had the gift of bringing joy to the lives of others. He brought laughter and joy to many that he transported in his role as a transporter. He was a loving and devoted father of three and grandfather of ten.

He was preceded in death by his parents: Willie Lamar Scott and Mary Louise Martin Scott; Two sisters: Eva Doris Scott and Betty Jean Scurry; One brother in-law: Arthur Lee Williams, II; One niece: Takela Scott and One nephew: Arthur Lee Wiiliams,III.

He leaves to cherish his memories his Children: Ronnie (Krishana) Scott,Jr., Annie Arnold and Michael (Asha) Scott; Siblings: Eva Louise Williams, Annie (Ernest) Peeples, Willie James (Louris) Scott,Sr., W. Juanita Zanders, Eddie B. Scott and Wilbur G. Scott; Grandchildren: Kiera, Damaii, Jakobi, Kross, Myneisha, Mykell, Kimberly, Kamari, Nizeria and Michael Jr.; Special nieces: Lasandra Jackson, Stephanie Punter and Michele Oliver; Devoted ex-wife: Diane Ashley; Devoted friend: Edlene Buie; God daughter: Tracy Woods; Best friend: Kenneth Daniels and a host of other nieces, nephews, great nieces, grand nephews and many other special friends.

Funeral services will be on Saturday October 09, 2010 at 3:00 p.m. from the sanctuary of Crossing Jordan Missionary Baptist, 1401 Cypress Street, Valdosta. Pastor Ronnie Mathis is host pastor and Rev. Darren Jackson will be officiating. Interment will follow in the Sunset Hill Cemetery.
