Ruby Pearl Howell

Ruby Pearl Whitfield Howell was born to the late Robert and Ruby Lee Whitfield, August 28, 1948 in Lowndes County, Georgia.

The Lord gently called her to eternal rest, Tuesday, February 5, 2013.

Ruby was a hard worker all of her life. She retired from South Georgia Medical Center.

Recognizing the author and finisher of her faith, Ruby accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior and was a member of Payton AME Church where she faithfully worshiped until her health failed.

Ruby was a loving wife and mother who was truly loved. She will be missed by her family and friends.

Ruby leaves a devoted and loving family to cherish her memories: Her husband: Frank Howell of Valdosta, GA; Two daughters: Angelita Morrison-Willrich (Robert) and Carol Morrison-Bebo (Richard) of Valdosta, GA; One sister: Lillie Joyce Allen of Valdosta, GA; One sister in-law: Ella Howell of Haines City, FL; One brother in-law: Frankel Howell (Jennifri) of Arlington, TX; Two uncles: McClary Patterson and Calvin Patterson (Ora Lee) of Valdosta, GA; Two aunts: Lucinda Hale of Gainesville, FL and Rosa Lee Shepard of Plant City, FL; Three grandchildren: Desiree, John, and Latasha; One great-grandchild: Jaylynn; Five nephews: Reginald, Antonio, Fred, Adrian and Keith; and One niece: Shekitta; Special friends: Shirley Williams of Valdosta,Ga and Jimmie Anglin (Cookie) of Houston, TX; and host of loving cousins, friends, and her church family.

The homegoing celebration for the late Mrs. Ruby Pearl Howell will be held Saturday, February 16, 2013 at 1:00pm from the sanctuary of Payton AME Church.

Rev. Renee Gee-Theophille will officiate.

Burial will follow at the Payton Church Cemetery.
