It is with deepest sympathy Godfrey Funeral Home announces Mrs. Rubye Bailey Pompey, age 80, of Valdosta, GA, departed this life Thursday, May 27, 2021, at Ana’s Personal Care Home, Lawrenceville, GA.

The Celebration of Life service for the late Mrs. Rubye Bailey Pompey will be Tuesday, June 1, 2021, 12:00 p.m., at Forrest Park Church of Christ, 4263 Inner Perimeter Road, Valdosta, GA.

Interment will follow in Riverview Memorial Gardens, 3945 N. Valdosta Road, Valdosta, GA.

Min. Westley Hazel will officiate.

Public viewing will be Monday, May 31, 2021, 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Godfrey Funeral Home and also, Tuesday, June 1, 11:00 a.m. until the funeral time at Forrest Park Church of Christ.
