Ruthie Mae Lane

Ruthie Mae Lane was born to the late Clinton and Eldora Riley Williams, July 04, 1938 in Valdosta Georgia.

Ruthie Mae made her life ending transition, Saturday, November 17, 2012 at the Houston Medical Center in Warner Robins, GA.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by one daughter: Rubie Dean Lane; three sisters: Mary E. Brown, Helen Williams and Beverly Morrel; and five brothers: J.W. Williams, Dennis Williams, Larry Alexander, Kenneth Alexander and James Williams.

She leaves to cherish her memories, her husband: Thomas Lane of Greeneville, FL; her children: Love (Andrea) Simmons of Kathleen, GA, Debra (Alfred) Dobbs of Tallahassee, FL, Norma Jean Arnold, Joyce (Willie) Bruton, Easter Belle Lane and Rosa (Paul) Conway all of Greenville, FL, Sandra (Damon) Cobb and Johnny Williams, Jr., both of Perry, FL; three sisters: Barbara Moore and Linda (George) Roberts of Valdosta, GA and Dorothy Jean Pierce of Albany, NY; three brothers: Clinton (Diane) Williams of Apple Valley, CA, Robert (Jackie) Williams of Valdosta, GA and Fred Williams of Orlando, FL; stepmother: Corine Thomas of Valdosta, GA; two sisters-in-law; one brother-in-law; thirty grandchildren and sixty great-grandchildren.

The homegoing celebration for Mrs. Ruthie Mae Lane will be held Saturday, November 24, 2012 at 3:00pm at the Godfrey Funeral Home Chapel.

Rev. Charles E. Vinson will officiate.

Burial will follow at the Jones Pallbearer Cemetery.
