Sade’ Ciera Holmes was born May 28, 1992, in Valdosta, GA to Craig and Vickie Holmes.
She was educated in the Valdosta City School System. Very determined to fulfill her life long dream of becoming a lawyer, she earned her diploma and graduated from Valdosta High School. Sade’ was sweet, loving, caring, and always genuine. The truest words ever spoken by Sade was simply this, “To know me is to love me”. Anytime she was in your presence, you could feel the love and warmth flow right from her smile to your soul.
If Sade’ was here, she would tell us: “I am not alone. Let me go quietly, peacefully home, Jesus is there. I am not alone. Remember the good things we use to say and remember the good things we use to do; now that we must let God have His way. None of us, not one of us, come here to stay. Don’t be sad, when I mention death, for after that comes beautiful rest. I hated to leave you (for we loved a lot), but for a little while we must part. Be good, be sweet and be brave, the home I spoke of is for you and I. I’ll be there waiting for you in the sky. Let me go quietly and peacefully home, Jesus is there and waiting for me in my new home.”
Awaiting her heavenly arrival are her grandparents: Howard and Bertha Holmes and Leo (Bud) and Maereatha Robinson; one aunt: Dorothy Ann Robinson; and one uncle: Leo Robinson.
Sade’ leaves to cherish many fond memories to her parents: Craig and Vickie Holmes of Valdosta, GA; four sisters: Shakeana Holmes of Valdosta, GA, Britney Jagers (Terrence) of Atlanta, GA, Kendriana Wright (JayCee) of Nashville, TN, and Arionna Holmes of Kingston, GA; three brothers: Jamal Walters of Valdosta, GA, Craig Holmes, Jr. of Texas, and T.C. Strickland of Tampa, FL; six loving aunts: Beverly Frost, Regina Spencer (Mike), Gloria Jordan (Pastor David), Vivian Robinson, Gwen Hicks (Charles), and Pauline Jennings; her seven devoted uncles: Howard Holmes, Mark Holmes, Cortez Holmes, Jackie Robinson, Bobby Robinson, David Robinson, and Leroy Robinson; one god-brother: Zackery Larry; a special niece: Kharma Victoria Sade Holmes; special cousin: Valisitee Afford; special friend: Montrez Davis; and a host of loving nieces, nephews, cousins, family, and friends.
