Sallie Mae Holloway

Mrs. Sallie Tumlin Holloway was born November 26, 1955 in Cedartown, Georgia to the late Lewis Tumlin and the late Lula Glenn Tumlin.

Sallie departed this life on Saturday, August 27, 2011 at her place of residence.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters: Annie Daniel and Mary Elliot and four brothers: Lewis, William, John and Nathaniel Tumlin.

Sallie leaves to cherish her memories, her husband: Jimmy Holloway; four children: Shantylle Holloway, Zoctavius Holloway,Devante Holloway and Zandra (Napoleon) Holloway-Davis; one grandchild: Shamarii Nykeeya; four sisters: Elizabeth Sewell, Betty Woodruff,Sandra Livingston and Mattie Tumlin Simpson; two brothers: Aaron and Henry Tumlin and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Funeral services for Mrs. Sallie Holloway will be held Saturday, September 3, 2011 at 1:00pm from the sanctuary of Friendship Baptist Church located at 321 Martin Luther King Blvd in Cedartown, GA.

Interment will follow at the Polk Memory Gardens in Cedartown, GA.

Public viewings will be held Thursday, Sept.1 from 10:00am-8:00pm at Godfrey Funeral Home located at 636 River St. in Valdosta, GA and Friday, September 2, from 6:00pm – 8:00pm at Wingfield Funeral Home located at 206 Marietta St., Cedartown, GA.
