Sandra Jean Sapp, departed from this life on Wednesday, February 01, 2012, at the Langdale Hospice House at the age of 57.
She resided at 819 W. Adair Street in Valdosta, GA.
She was born December 14, 1954 in Lowndes County to the late AreMae and Ivory Sapp, Jr. Sandra was educated in the Valdosta City School System. She was employed by Comfort Suites until her health failed.
In addition to her parents, Sandra is preceded in death by one sister: Betty Smithson; two brothers: George Sapp and Nivey Sapp; two aunts: Gladys Marie Bryant and Ada Scott; three uncles: Eugene Brown, Willie C. Brown and William Zack Brown; and a step-mother: Hattie King Sapp.
Sandra leaves to cherish her memories: a long time devoted companion: Samuel Bethea; one daughter: Tomeka (Terrence) Bethea; two sons: Samuel Bethea, Jr. and Reginald (Ashley) Bethea; three grandchildren: Taren, Tamera and Shamyia; five sisters: Annie Doris Peterson, Morris Gosier, Jeanette Sapp, Annette (Ronald) Gordon and Marion (David) Griffith; three brothers: Charles Sapp, Ivory Sapp, Jr. and William Sapp; one half brother: Kenneth (Myra) King; one step-brother: Freddie King; one god-brother: Bernie Gaines; one god-sister: Lethea Rolly; three step-sisters: Geneva King, Fannie Ford and Mina King; two sisters in-law: Jennie Sapp and Margaret Sapp; one aunt: Lucinda Brown; one uncle: Bobby Bryant; in-laws: Marie Keys, Vernitha Davis, Gail Bethea and George Bethea; devoted cousin: Earlene Scott; special neice: Inga Moore; special friend: Essie Johnson; and host of sorrowing nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
The homegoing celebration for Ms. Sapp will be held Saturday, February 11,2012 at 1:00pm from the sanctuary of Serenity Christian Church.
Floyd Rose is the Pastor. Pastor Wilburt Berrian will officiate.
Burial will follow at the Sunset Hill Cemetery.
