Savannah Page was born October 16, 1950 in Madison, FL to the late Frank and Geneva Owens.
She was caring, loving, thoughtful and true. Someone on whose love you could always depend. She had a caring heart—never met a stranger. You could count on Savannah to be there, through good and bad times, no matter what. Her life was full of loving deeds, forever thinking of other’s needs.
On Saturday, September 27, 2014, Savannah entered into eternal rest.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by one brother: Freddie Owens; grandparents: Clara and Jesse Cushion; aunts and uncles: Julia Mae Akins, Carrie Bell Shapper, Rosa Lee Harrell, Ida Mae Harrell and George Williams; one niece: Renee Owens and one cousin: Willie Ulmer Jr.
Savannah leaves to cherish her memories, her children: Latressa Spates (James), Annanias Denson Jr., Edward Page, Santana Page, Ignicia Page and Joespha Page, all of Valdosta, GA, Christina James (Kendrick), of South Carolina, and Alan Denson (Angela) of Tallahassee, FL; ex-husband: Edward Page Sr.; one brother: Robert Owens (Mary) of Valdosta, GA; grandchildren: Davion Baynard, Marquise Denson, Noah Denson, Racheal Denson, Elisabeth James, Naemya Boatwright, Deshwn Denson, Nyla Gilbert, Ikera Williams, Leann Page, Joeanna Daniels, and Olivia James; one sister in-law: Phyllis; special relatives: Bobby Jean, Wanda Smithson, Sharon Harris, Freddie Owens Jr., Leon Harrell and James Harrell Jr.; special friends: Ruth Butler and Brenda Fender; special pet: “Gator”; her Levi Strauss Family, and a host family of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
The celebration of life for the late Ms. Savannah Denson Page will be held Friday, October 3, 2014 at 11:00am from the sanctuary of Crossing Jordan Baptist Church.
Dr. Ronnie Mathis will officiate.
Interment will follow in the Payton AME Church Cemetery.
