Seketha Yvette Robinson Houston

Ms. Seketha Yvette Robinson-Houston, the beautiful daughter of Leroy and Annette Robinson, was born in Lanier County on September 19, 1971. On Friday, May 13, 2011, Seketha was granted her angel wings and went home to be with the Lord.

She received her education in the Lowndes County Schools and went on to continue her education at Valdosta State College and later graduated from Tallahassee Community College. At the time of her demise, Seketha was a resident of Tallahassee, FL, employed by the United States Prison Bureau-Florida Correctional Institute for over 12 years.

Throughout her life, Seketha always had a special way of touching the lives of many people. She was free-spirited, full of life, outgoing and possessed a smile that brought peace.

She was preceded in death by her sister, Teresa Yvonne and her grandparents, C.H. Robinson and Beatrice Robinson.

Funeral service will be on Saturday, May 21, 2011 at 11 a.m., from the sanctuary of the Union Cathedral, 1050 E. Hill Ave, Valdosta. Bishop Wade S. McCrae will officiate. Entombment will follow in the Harrington Rest Cemetery, Delmar, GA.
