Steavin Devon Ware

March 15, 1999 — October 19, 2017

On March 15, 1999, God blessed our family with a precious gift. That gift we named, Steavin Devon Ware. Steavin was born in Valdosta, GA, to Ernest Kearse of Pompano Beach, FL and the late Stefanie Warmble. For eighteen years, God allowed us to make memories here on earth with Steavin.

Though we know death eventually will have a season in every household, we never would have thought we’d lose our Steavin. On October 19, 2017, God reached down and took him to glory.

In addition to his mother, Stefanie Warmble, Steavin was preceded in death by one cousin: Javon Knight; and one uncle: Cecil Knight, Jr.

Steavin leaves to cherish his memories, his grandmothers: Nancy Mathis of Lake Park, GA, Emma Warmble of Pompano Beach, FL and Eva Lou Kearse of Ft. Lauderdale Beach, FL; his sisters and brothers: Dexter Ware, Dalontae Warmble, Ernest Kearse, Zakira Kearse and Zydarian Dasher; step-father: Harry Weldon; aunts and uncles: Geraldine Jackson of Pompano Beach, FL, Dwayne Knight and Benton, Kendra Jiles of Valdosta, GA and Genia Brockington of Lakeland, GA; cousins: Jailen Knight, Erica Washington, Ruby Green, Cynthia Jackson and Stacy Allen; god-parents: Latoya Dasher, Pastor Lewis Mitchell, Sr. and First Lady Yvonnie Mitchell; god-siblings: Zenevia Hargett, Treyonna James and Ja’Marion Benton; and a host of family and friends.

The Lowndes County faculty, staff and student body will remember Steavin for his dedication and hard work on the track and in the classroom. He was known for his humor. He was always laughing and his warm heart drew many. We will cherish our many memories in our hearts as we honor his life.

The Celebration of Life for the late Steavin Devon Ware will be held Saturday, October 28, 2017 at 3:00pm from the sanctuary of Vision Deliverance Tabernacle of Jesus Christ.

Dr. Charles E. Vinson, Sr. will officiate.
