Mrs. Stella Williams Robinson

June 24, 1950 — June 19, 2017

Stella Louise Robinson of Tucker, GA, was born June 24, 1950, in St. Augustine, FL, to the late Mood and Estella Williams.

Because of her love for education, after completing high school, Stella pursued and received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Middle Grade Education from Valdosta State University and continued her passion for learning at Capella University where she received her Masters in Education.

Believing she was a co-worker with God, in the divine task of molding and forming the young and growing minds of children, Stella taught in the Sheldon Independent School District, Valdosta City Schools System, Southland Christian School, and Genesis Christian School. With a deep sense of commitment, Stella enjoyed Science and teaching.

On Monday, June 19, at Emory University Hospital in Atlanta, GA, the Lord declared that the time of her departure was at hand and she was now ready to be offered up for His daughter had fought a good fight, finished her course and most importantly kept the faith.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her grandparents: Daniel and Carrie Folsom; all of her sisters and brothers: Thelma Moore, Pinkie Stephens, Lorraine Jones, Gurlie Lee Esther Williams, Daniel Williams and James Williams; one niece: Estella Jean Williams and one grandson: Christopher Wrice.

Mourning her passing, yet rejoicing her life, Stella leaves to celebrate and carry on her legacy of faith to her husband, Mike Robinson III; seven children whom she loved: Shalene Dunmore (Gregory), Valisha Brown (Scotty), Tania Brown, Kevin White (Cynthia), Allen Perry, Anthony Perry (Koraket), and Michael Robinson (Javonda); eleven grandchildren: Shaleea N. Dunmore, Gregory Dunmore, Jr., Vaneeshia Redding, Casey Brown, Dana Brown, Shaniya Erving, Lauren White, Jade Robinson, Michael Robinson, Jr., Isis Robinson and Mia White; two grand-nephews: Timothy Wright (Rhonda) and Neco Wright (Khrystal); three god-daughters: Aretha Chapman, Shenita Ferguson and Calissia Singleton; a god-son: Gary Chapman; three god-grandchildren: ZarQues, Zarkeah and Alani; six sisters-in-law; six brothers-in-law; three special friends: Rosa Thomas-Webb, Barbara Wade, and Sylvia Brown; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family, and friends.

The Celebration of Life for the late Mrs. Stella L. Robinson will be held Saturday, June 24, 2017 at 1:00pm from the sanctuary of Union Cathedral.

Evangelist Shalene Dunmore, Eulogist.

Bishop Wade S. McCrae, Senior Pastor.

Interment will follow in Southview Cemetery.
