Valdeese Holloway Hull

Valdeese Holloway Hull was born November 21, 1950, in Valdosta, GA, to the late Willene Butler Holloway and the late Willie Mitchell Holloway.

Valdeese was one of life’s best gifts. She was very caring, loving, thoughtful and true. In the book of Proverbs, it shares how a joyful heart is good medicine. Valdeese was indeed good medicine for her family and friends. Using her sense of humor, she loved to make people laugh.

Valdeese was a devoted, caring, wife and mother who was dearly loved by her husband, the late Eugene Hull. She was a wonderful mother, not only to her children, but to all children. Her door and her loving arms was always open to receive them. During her past time, she enjoyed putting together puzzles.

Valdeese took comfort in knowing that the Spirit of the Lord was watching over her and that one day she would receive her Mansion, Robe and Crown. On Friday, October 12, with the angels watching, Valdeese received her wings and is now at rest.

In addition to the parents, she is preceded in death by her husband: Eugene Hull and her grandparents: John and Mattie Butler and Fredrick and Flossie Holloway.

Finding comfort in knowing they now have a special angel watching over them, her two children: Terrance Hull (Larita) of Atlanta, GA and Vanessa Hull of Valdosta, GA; her four sisters: Brenda Russell (James) of Hampton, VA, Gloria Gross (Edward) of Annapolis, MD, Gwendolyn Frazier and Diane Roberts (Calvin) all of Valdosta, GA; and her four brothers: Raymond Holloway (Cha) of Ft. Walton Beach, FL; Ronald Holloway of Homestead, FL, Howard Holloway (Karon) of Valdosta, GA and Mitchell Holloway (Gwen) of Chantilly, VA, now celebrate her life. In addition are her grandchildren: Niesha Hull, Jaron Hull and Jaedalyn Hull; great-grandchildren: Deangelo E. Davis, Jeremiah E. Davis, Melek R. Davis and Aniya L. Williams; three sisters-in-law; four brothers-in-law; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and friends.

The Celebration of Life for the late Mrs. Valdeese Holloway Hull will be Monday, October 22, 2018, 11:00 a.m., from the sanctuary of Southside Church of Christ, 1198 Old Statenville Road, Valdosta.

Bro. John W. Iverson, Sr. will officiate.

Interment will follow in the Southview Cemetery.
