Vanessa Williams

Vanessa Williams was born November 17, 1957 to Willie Frank Campbell and the late Eloise Williams Keeley.

On October 25, 2011 the Lord gently called her home.

In addition to her mother, Vanessa was preceded in death by one sister: Gloria Williams and a nephew: Adrian J. Williams.

She leaves to cherish her memories; three children: Casey Williams, Jarvis Williams and Kiyondra Williams all of Statenville, GA; her father: Willie Frank (Mattie) Campbell; two sisters: Lillie B. (Willie) Thomas of Statenville, GA and Estella Thomas of Delmar, GA; adoptive mother: Gordie Mae Thomas; a devoted companion: Arthur Lee Jenkins, Jr.; her step-father: Johnnie Lee Keeley; two step-sisters: Ira Jean (Hubert) Barnard and Laura James of Tampa, FL; five aunts: Lillie M. Roberson of St. Petersburg, FL, Claretha Rodgers of Douglas, GA, Julia M. Berrian, Eula Godfrey, and Sarah F. Kier all of Valdosta, GA; one uncle: Marcus (Odell) Campbell of Valdosta, GA; a host of nieces and nephews: LaQuita (Michael) Williams of Smyrna, GA; Michael (Pam) Mitchell, Angela Thomas, Carla (Cameron) Williams, Kelley (Johnny) Saxon, all of Valdosta, GA, Alfred (Michelle) Williams, Chantel Armstrong, and Willie Thomas all of Statenville, GA; a god-daughters: LaToya Walthour and Kahmiya Young; special friends: Josephine Burgman and the Keeley Family of Sparks, GA, and a host of sorrowing family and friends.

The homegoing celebration will be held Saturday, November 05, 2011 at 11:00am from the sanctuary of Mt. Olive Holiness Church-Our Daily Bread Gospel Tabernacle in Statenville, GA. Bishop Horace Brown, Sr. will officiate.

Interment will follow at the Sunset Hill Cemetery.
