It is with deepest sympathy Godfrey Funeral Home announces Mrs. Velma Deloris Reed Matchett, age 95, of Valdosta, GA, departed this life Sunday, June 5, 2022, at South Georgia Medical Center, Valdosta, GA.

The Celebration of Life for the late Mrs. Velma D. Matchett. will be Saturday, June 11, 2022, 3:00 p.m., from the sanctuary of New Life Ministries, 5651 Inner Perimeter Road, Valdosta, GA.

Pastor J. Bernard Braswell, II is Senior Pastor and Dr. Joe Troope will be officiating.

The Service will be live streamed on the Facebook page of Godfrey Funeral Home.

Interment will follow in the Register Cemetery, 4880 Vienna Church Road, Valdosta, GA.

Public viewing will be Friday, June 10, 2022, 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Godfrey Funeral Home.
