Sir William Gregory McKeithen was born September 22, 1969 to Willie (Turk) McKeithen Jr. and the late Diane McKeithen.
He grew up in Lowndes County and attended Lowndes County public schools. During his teenage years, he was employed with Family Pizza. He furthered his education and became a certified chef in Quincy, FL. He was also the owner of S&M Mobile Detailing Service and also worked with Miller Cleaning Services.
William made his life ending transition on his birthday, September 22, 2012 in Miami, FL.
In addition to this mother he is preceded in death by his grandmother: Essie Bell McKeithen; grandfather: David Miller, Sr.; great-grandmother: Bertha Miller; two brothers: Calvin McKeithen and Willie McKeithen, Jr.; two aunts: Marguerite McKeithen and Annie Adams; two uncles: Robert Johnson and James Miller and three cousins: Paula Thomas, Neil McKeithen and Stevie Lewis.
William leaves to cherish his memories his father: Willie McKeithen Jr. of Valdosta, GA.; one sister: Michelle Jackson (Demetrius) of Warner Robins, GA; one brother: Quinton Clements of Jacksonville, FL; two daughters: Satriea Phillips and Shayla McKeithen of Valdosta, GA; his grandmother: Lucille Miller of Gainesville, GA; four aunts: Ella McKeithen, Irene Miller, Gloria Lee and Rutha call Deloach (Samuel); three uncles: David Miller (Pearl), Carlton Miller (Darlene) and Ronnie Gamble; five great aunts: Bonnie Miller, Helen Williams, Gertrude Herring, Grace Hicks and Lena Palmer; one great uncle: Riley Miller (Mary); two nieces: Prosche Scott and Jessica McKeithen; two nephews: Michael Scott, Jr. and Calvin McKeithen; four special cousins: Rachel Thompson, Felicia McKinnon, Dorothy Baker and Laronne McKeithen; godparents: Wanda Griffin (Purnell) and Yvonne Morgan (Pete); special friend: Arisha Hope; devoted lifelong friends: James and Lossie Crawford, Alfrie Johnson, Vonda Moran, James Robinson, Wilbur Wright, James Robinson, Johnny Porter, William Bartley, Christopher & Staci Wise, Godfrey & Inga Moore, Willie & Pamela Wright, Kimberly Lee and Joy Scott and host of cousins, friends and loved ones that will miss him greatly.
The homegoing celebration for Mr. William Gregory McKeithen will be held Saturday at 3:00pm from the sanctuary of Morning Star Baptist Church.
Dr. William C. Morgan is the pastor. Dr. John Manning will officiate.
Burial will follow at the Sunset Hill Cemetery.
