Yolandra Meshawn Manning was born on January 02, 1971 in Harlem, New York to Doris Jones Manning and the late Bobby Manning.

She departed this life on Saturday, December 10, 2011 after an extended illness.

Yolandra attended Elementary and Junior High School in Valdosta, GA. She graduated from Jane Adams High School in New York. She attended Buffalo State College and went on to obtain a Business Degree from Taylor Business Institute in Manhattan, NY. She worked as an Assistant Manager at Filene’s Basement until relocating to Dunwoody, GA in 1997. She was employed at Dillard’s in Kennesaw, GA until she fell ill in 2008.

Yolandra was proceeded in death by her paternal grandparents: Joseph and Surilla Manning; maternal grandparents: Tannie and Millie Burke; aunt and uncle: Bennie and Unjerine Hancock; uncles: Joseph Manning, Jr., Elijah McKinney and Henry Greene; and aunt: Barbara Anderson Harper.

She leaves to mourn her passing her son: Raseem Christopher Reedy of Acworth, GA; a loving mother: Doris Jones Manning of Woodstock, GA; a sister: Melanie Manning of Smyrna, GA; grandmother: Ether Terrell of Valdosta, GA; aunts: Daphne Jones, Mattie McKinney, Jennifer (William) Patterson, Shirley Williams, Sonovia Terrell and Chandlyn Rayam, all of Valdosta, GA, Irene Greene of Newark, OH, and Elaine Manning of Newark, OH; uncle: Norman (Ann) Carnegia of Albany, GA; and a host of sorrowing relatives and friends.

The homegoing celebration will be held Saturday, December 17, 2011 at 11:00am from the sanctuary of Woodlawn Forrest Church of Christ.

Minister Leroy Butler Jr. will officiate.

Burial will follow at the Sunset Hill Cemetery.
